Sweet & Spicy Holiday Party Seasoning Mix: Prep Time: 10 minutes. Cook Time: 45 minutes. Makes 16 servings. You will need: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted; 1 pkg. McCormick seasoning mix; 2 cups corn squares cereal or honey nut squares cereal; 2 cups mixed nuts; 2 cups Cheez-It original baked snack crackers; 2 cups small pretzel shapes, such as twists or rings. Directions: 1. Preheat oven 250°F. Mix butter and seasoning in small bowl. Place remaining ingredients in large bowl; drizzle butter mixture over top. Toss to coat snack mixture evenly. 2. Spread snack mix evenly on two foil-lined 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pans. 3. Bake 45 minutes, stirring halfway through. Cool completely on pans on wire rack. Store in airtight container. Microwave Preparation Option: Prepare as directed in step 1 using a large microwave-safe bowl for the snack mix. Microwave on high 4 minutes, uncovered, or until crackers are crispy, stirring halfway through. Spread snack mix on foil-lined baking sheet. Cool and store as directed. Kitchen Tips: Use any variety of squares cereal in place of the corn squares cereal. For the mixed nuts, replace with your favorite nuts or substitute with an additional 2 cups of any of the ingredients in the recipe already.
