Wedding White Frosting: 1 cup vegetable shortening. 1 tsp. clear imitation vanilla extract. 1 pkg. (16 oz.) confectioners' sugar, sifted. 2 to 3 tbsp. milk. Beat shortening in large bowl with mixer on medium until creamy. Mix in extract. Beat in confectioners' sugar, 1 cup at a time, on low until well blended. Add milk; beat on medium until light and fluffy. Makes 2 cups.
