Immerse tortillas in hot oil until softened but not crisp; drain. Fill tortillas with your favorite taco filling (fried potatoes and sausage; mashed potatoes; refried beans; seasoned ground beef) and fold into tacos. Fill a pot with two inches of water and insert a steamer lined with cloth. Stack tacos in steamer, cover with cloth, and steam until heated through and condensation appears on tortillas. Serve hot
