Instructions for Use: Sizing and Fitting: The helmet can only protect if it fits well. Therefore, the buyer should try different sizes and choose the size which feels secure and comfortable on the head. Put the helmet on your head. It should fit comfortably snug at the top and sides, not too tight or too loose. The helmet should be positioned on the head so that it maintains a level fit position so as to protect the forehead and not be pushed too far over the back of the head, does not impede your field of vision, cannot be pulled off easily, and does not readily change position on your head. Buckling up: Fasten the helmet strap until you hear the buckle make a click sound. Make sure that the tension is even between the front and the back strap. If the strap is too loose or too tight, unbuckle the helmet and adjust the fit. The helmet should be adjusted to fit the user, e.g. The straps positioned so that they do not cover the ears, the buckle positioned away from the jawbone and the straps and buckle adjusted to be both comfortable and firm. It is extremely important that the helmet be buckled at all times, as this will keep the helmet on your head in the event of an accident. Care: Always check that your helmet is intact and that no parts are damaged or missing. A helmet that has deep scratches, has received a strong impact from an accident, has been exposed to extreme heat or cold or is worn out or loosened from years of use should be destroyed and replaced with a new helmet. Clean only with water and a gentle solution of soap. Do not use solvents like bleach, cleaners like ammonia adhesive stickers, petroleum-based products, transfers or paint on your helmet because these substances can severely affect the protection provided by the helmet. Pads are hand-washable and replaceable. Helmets have a limited life span-in addition to the above warning, we recommend replacing every three years.
