Delicious Bird's Custard in a few easy steps! To make 1 cup of custard... All You Need: Saucepan; 1 cup; Large microwave safe bowl; 8 fl oz milk; 1 tbsp of sugar. On the Stove: 1. Mix 1 heaped tbsp (17.5 g) of custard powder with 1 tbsp (17.5 g) of sugar in saucepan. 2. Measure 1 cup (8 fl oz) of cold milk*. Add 1/4 cup (2 oz) to saucepan and whisk until smooth. 3. Add remainder of milk and stir. 4. Heat, stirring continuously, on medium heat until gently boiling. Remove from heat. * Milk - may use skim, whole, coconut, almond or other non-dairy milk to make your perfect custard. Vary the milk quantity for your desired consistency. Add more or less sugar to suit your taste. Microwave 800w, Cat E: 1. Mix 1 heaped tbsp (17.5 g) of custard powder with 1 tbsp (17.5 g) of sugar in large microwave safe bowl. 2. Measure 1 cup (8 fl oz) of cold milk*. Add 1/4 cup (2 oz) to bowl and whisk until smooth. 3. Add remainder of milk and stir. 4. Heat on full power for 3 minutes, stirring halfway through and again at the end. * Milk - may use skim, whole, coconut, almond or other non-dairy milk to make your perfect custard. Vary the milk quantity for your desired consistency. Add more or less sugar to suit your taste. Store in a cool, dry place. Once prepared store in a refrigerator and treat as fresh food, consume within 2 days. Lift. Best if used by: See lid or based.
