Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Directions: To store, keep frozen. Thaw in refrigerator. Once thawed, keep refrigerated for no more than 3 days. The perfectly cooked pattie will be slightly golden on the outside while remaining moist and tender on the inside. Always cook pork patties to a safe internal temperature of 160 degrees F. For best results, do not overcook. On the Grill - If already thawed, over low to medium heat, patties will cook in approximately 5 to 6 minutes per side. If starting with frozen patties, the cooking time will increase by an additional 3 to 4 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. In the Skillet - Over medium heat, in a non-stick skillet, thawed patties will cook to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F in approximately 5 to 6 minutes per side. Note, if starting with frozen patties, the cooking time must be extended by 2 to 3 minutes per side. To Broil - Pre-heat oven. Place patties on broiler pan or foil covered baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Using the center rack position, thawed patties cook in only 4 to 5 minutes per side. Frozen patties will cook in approximately 5 to 6 minutes per side. Broiler temperatures will vary, so observe patties to avoid overcooking. Keep frozen. Refrigerate thawed patties up to three days.
