When I first started, I only wanted to make wine from Napa Valley. But then a friend introduced me to his wines from Alexander Valley in Sonoma County and I knew immediately that I wanted to make wines that were like that - fruit forward, with great structure and excellent balance. Together we made the first Josh Cellars wines in a barn in Sonoma with fruit from Alexander Valley. Now all these years later we've crafted a very special Cabernet Sauvignon made exclusively with fruit from Alexander Valley. The wine exhibits aromas of coffee and cedar with flavors of dark blackberry that provide a delicious and lingering finish.
