Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Use Restrictions: This product is not be used as a terminal sterilant/high-level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into human body either into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to preclean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high level disinfection. Shake well before using. Pre Cleaning: Before using Homebright Disinfectant Spray for disinfection and/or sanitization (Sanitizes: Kills 99.9% of Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli [E. coli], Klebsiella pneumonia, Salmonella enterica and Staphylococcus aureus [Staph] on hard, nonporous, non-food contact surfaces in 10 minutes), thoroughly pre-clean surfaces to be treated. Disinfection and Sanitization:* *Sanitizes: Kills 99.9% of Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli [E. coli], Klebsiella pneumonia, Salmonella enterica and Staphylococcus aureus [Staph] on hard, nonporous, non-food contact surfaces in 10 minutes. Hold can upright and spray pre-cleaned surface from a distance of 6 inches until suface is wet. Allow treated surfaces to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes before wiping with a clean sponge or towel or let treated surface air dry. Special Instructions for Cleaning and Decontamination Against HIV on Surfaces/Objects Soiled with Blood/Body Fluids on pre-cleaned environment surface/objects previously soiled with blood/body fluids in health care settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood/body fluids, and in which the surfaces/objects likely to be soiled with blood or body fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of HIV): Personal Protection: When handling items soiled with blood or body fluids, use disposable latex gloves, gowns, masks, and eye coverings. Cleaning Procedure: Blood and other body fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of this disinfectant. Contact Time: Spray surface to be treated 3-4 seconds, from a distance of 6-8 inches, until surface is wet. Allow spray to dry without wiping or allow spray to be treated surface for a minimum of 10 minutes prior to wiping. Disposal of Infectious Materials: Blood and other body fluids should be autoclaved and disposed of according to federal state and local infectious waste disposal. Storage and Disposal: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage disposal. Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool dry (preferably locked) storage area away from sources of heat or ignition. Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be diagnosed on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. Container Handling: Do not incinerate or puncture. If Empty: Replace cap then offer for recycling, if available; other dispose of in trash. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
