Directions

For coloring eggs: Use hard boiled, clean, white eggs. Add 1 teaspoon of Gel food color to a small cup. Add 1/2 cup of hot tap water (120 degrees) and 1 tsp. vinegar. Stir until gel is completely dissolved (about 5 minutes). Submerge egg for 4 minutes. Carefully remove egg from solution and let sit on drying rack until completely dry (about 15 minutes). Directions for coloring cookie dough, icing, and white cake batter: Add selected gel food color to dough, icing, or white cake batter. Mix until color is well blended. Continue to add gel food color until preferred color is achieved. Bake dough or batter after desired color is achieved.
