Where to Use: Yellow color represents area to be sprayed to receive up to 4 month weed-free control. Driveways, sidewalks, & patios, around trees /landscaped areas(1), along fences, gravel areas. How It Works: Dual Action Formula Works 2 Ways: 1. This product is absorbed by the weed's leaves and moves through the weed to the roots. Weeds die, down to the root - so they don't grow back. Weeds will begin to yellow and wilt within hours with complete kill in 1 to 2 weeks. 2. Imazapic prevents new weeds from growing for up to 4 months by creating an invisible barrier in the soil. Directions For Use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Always read and follow label directions. Where To Use: Apply only where you want to kill existing weeds and prevent future weed growth for up to 4 months, such as: On cracks and crevices in driveways, sidewalks, walkways and patios. Along fences, foundations, retaining walls, and curbs. In mulched beds or around the base of well-established (at least 6 months old) desirable plants, shrubs or trees. Gravel areas. On parking areas and under decks. Note: In heavy clay soils, plant growth may be prevented for more than 4 months. In areas of heavy rainfall, applications every 2-3 months may be necessary. To avoid damage to desirable plants, do not apply over the root systems of plants that are not well-established (at least 6 months old). Where Not To Use: Do not spray plants or grasses you like - they will die. Do not spray landscaped areas around young plants or in areas that will be planted or seeded within 4 months. Do not use in lawns or for lawn renovation as this product prevents desirable grasses from growing too. Do not use for vegetable garden preparation or in and around fruits and vegetables. Do not spray next to a fence if desirable plants and grasses are growing on the other side. Note: For weed control in these areas use Roundup Weed & Grass Killer, or Roundup Weed & Grass Killer, Concentrate. How to assemble and use instructions. 1. Remove pull strip to activate batteries. 2. Turn nozzle to desired spray pattern. 3. Slide trigger lock to Off. 4. Press trigger to spray. How To Apply: Adjust nozzle to the desired spray setting. Squeeze trigger fully for fast, continuous coverage. Spray the existing weeds and the entire surrounding weed-prone area you want to keep weed free for up to 4 months. Spray the area until thoroughly wet. When spraying around the base of well-established (at least 6 months old) ornamental plants, shrubs or trees, shield desirable plants from drift with a sheet of cardboard or plastic. If desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, rinse off immediately with water. When To Apply: For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather above 60 degrees F. Spray when air is calm to prevent drift to desirable plants. Rainproof: Rain or watering 30 minutes after application will not wash away effectiveness. Wait at least 2-3 months before spraying a previously treated area. Application Restrictions: Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Only persons applying this product may be in the area during application. People and pets may enter treated area after spray has dried. Do not exceed a maximum single application rate of 1 gallon of product per 300 sq ft, a yearly application rate of 6 gallons of product per 300 sq ft and wait a minimum of 2 months before repeating application. Do not apply this product via backpack sprayer. (1)Do not use: In areas that will be planted or seeded within 4 months or around unestablished desirable plants, shrubs or trees (see booklet for details). Storage and disposal: Pesticide storage: No need to disconnect sprayer hose from cap. Twist sprayer nozzle to the off position. Slide/ trigger lock to on. Store product in original container in a safe place away from direct sunlight. Keep from freezing. If frozen, allow to thaw and shake well before using. To prevent accidental poisoning, never store this product in food, drink, or unlabeled containers. Pesticide disposal and container handling: nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container unless the directions for use allow a different concentrated or ready-to-use product to be diluted in or poured directly into the container. Prevents new weeds from growing for up to 4 months by creating an invisible barrier in the soil. This bottle may contain an anti-theft device, either inside or on the back of the bottle. It does not affect product performance. Important: To prevent new weeds and grasses from growing, you must spray the entire area you want to control, not just the emerged weeds. Caution: May cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, shoes plus socks and gloves. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Such items should be kept and washed separately from other laundry. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area or touch treated plants until spray has dried. Environmental Hazards: To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather and when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. Diquat is toxic to aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water when cleaning equipment or disposing of equipment wash waters. Groundwater Advisory: Triclopyr, imazapic and fluazifop-P-butyl have properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this product in areas where soil is permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination. Non-Target Organism Advisory: Triclopyr, imazapic, fluazifop-P-butyl and diquat are toxic to plants and may adversely impact the forage and habitat of non-target organisms, including pollinators, in areas adjacent to the treated site. Protect the forage and habitat of non-target organisms by following label directions intended to minimize spray drift. Surface Water Advisory: Triclopyr, imazapic and fluazifop-P-butyl may impact surface water quality due to runoff of rain water.
