Bringing a trimphant spirit, Inspiration and courage. I sculpted the first Angel of Courage in 2001 to celebrate the triumphant spirit, inspiration and courage we call upon to face challenges in our lives - whether they be our health or the well-being of our loved ones. In response to an overwhelming request for this sentiment, I re-sculpted Courage in 2006. I hope this figure can be a reminder of people in our lives who inspire us with their strength and courage every day. Susan Lordi. Artist susan lordi hand carves the original of cach willow Tree figure from her art studio in Kansas City, Missioun. This piece is cast from Susan's original carving, and then painted by hand. Expression is revealed through gestures only... a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. The simplicity of form and the absence of facial features signify Willow Tree. it is Susan's hope that these pieces be meaningful to both giver and receiver. willowtree.com. demdaco.com.
