Directions for Preparations and Use: Your baby's health depends on carefully following the directions below. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Ask your baby's healthcare provider before using an infant formula, including the need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and the need to sterilize bottles and feeding utensils. How to Make Happy Baby Formula. 1. Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area. 2. Using the chart below, pour desired amount of water into clean bottle. 3. Add the exact ratio of unpacked, leveled scoops of powder to water. For every 1 fl oz of water, add 1 scoop of powder. 4. Cap bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. Happy Baby Feeding Chart (use this as your guide and only use the provided scoop): To Make (Bottle): 2 fl oz; Water (fl oz): 2 fl oz; Powder (Unpacked Level Scoop): 2 scoops (8.8 g). To Make (Bottle): 4 fl oz; Water (fl oz): 4 fl oz; Powder (Unpacked Level Scoop): 4 scoops (17.6 g). To Make (Bottle): 6 fl oz; Water (fl oz): 6 fl oz; Powder (Unpacked Level Scoop): 6 scoops ( 26.4 g). To Make (Bottle): 8 fl oz; Water (fl oz): 8 fl oz; Powder (Unpacked Level Scoop): 8 scoops (35.2 g). Each scoop adds approximately 0.1 fl oz to the amount of prepared formula. Freshly prepared formula is best and should be fed immediately. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard. Only if necessary, refrigerate unused formula at 35-40 degrees F (2-4 degrees C) and use within 24 hours. Do not freeze. Storage: Tightly cover open container and use within 1 month. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store open and unopened containers in a dry area at room temperature.
