Recommended daily feeding amount: Using a standard 8 oz measuring cup. For weight maintenance: 1/2-1-1/3 cups - Dog's current weight: 3 to 12 lbs - For weight reduction +: 1/2-1 cup. For weight maintenance: 1-1/3-2 cups - Dog's current weight: 13 to 20 lbs - For weight reduction +: 1-1-2/3 cups. For weight maintenance: 2-3 cups - Dog's current weight: 21 to 35 lbs - For weight reduction +: 1-2/3-2-1/3 cups. Feeding adult dogs: most adult dogs can be fed once daily. However, it may be beneficial to divide the recommended daily amounts into two meals. The food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary depending on age, activity and environment, and should be adjusted accordingly. Feeding tip: when switching to Beneful healthy weight dog food, please allow 7 - 10 days for the transition.
