Thoroughly read instructions before use. Care instructions: wipe outside of toy with clean, moist towel. Dry thoroughly. Do not immerse in water. Instructions: Instructions for use: 1. This toy comes with pre-installed batteries and is ready for use. Locate the on/off switch on the bottom and switch it on (figure 1). 2. Place toy on a smooth surface. For optimal performance, use on non-carpeted areas. The bird will begin to run in a circle. When it bumps into an object, it will turn and move in a different direction. At times it may get trapped when it bumps up against an object. If this happens, guide it away with your hand. To replace batteries: 1. Open the battery compartment with a small Phillips screwdriver (figure 2). 2. Using a screwdriver, or any pointed instrument, place it under the notch along the bottom left edge. Carefully apply leverage to remove the cover (figure 3). 3. Insert 2 AAA batteries ensuring they are placed with the correct polarity (+/-). Secure cover in place with screw (figure 4).
