For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook thoroughly. Keep raw meats and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Basic Thawing Instructions: Refrigerator: Place unopened bag or raw pieces from bag, covered in plastic wrap, in a large bowl or pan and refrigerate on bottom shelft of refrigerator overnight. Microwave: Follow your manual's defrost instructions. 1. Thaw no more than 3 pieces at a time on a microwaveable plate covered with plastic wrap. 2. Rotate plate one-quarter, turn 4 times during defrost cycle, cheking pieces before each rotation. 3. turn pieces over and re-cover with plastic wrap halfway through defrost cycle. Note: some microwaves may defrost faster than others. Basic Cooking Instructions: Conventional Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Arrange wings in a single layer in a shallow, oven-proof, roasting pan. 3. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees F for 30-40 minutes if thawed, or for 35-45 minutes if frozen. Bake until chicken can be easily pierced with fork and internal juices run clear. For best quality, bake to a minimum internal temperature of 185 degrees F at its thickest point as measured by use of a meat thermometer. 4. Let stand 3-5 minutes before serving. Basic Cooking Instructions: Grill: 1. Heat grill to medium heat. 2. Grill from frozen, turning every 4-5 minutes, for approximately 20-30 minutes, until chicken can be easily pierced with fork and internal juices run clear. If thawing first, decrease cook time by approximately 5 minutes. For best quality, grill until a minimum internal temperature of 185 degrees F is reached at its thickest point as measured by use of a meat thermometer and juices run clear. 3. Let stand 3-5 minutes before serving. If desired, frequently brush with barbecue sauce, fruit glaze or other sauce, turning during last 10-15 minutes. For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 185 degrees F at its thickest point as measured by use of a meat thermometer. Keep frozen.
