Directions
Soft & rinse. Add 1 cup freekeh to 2 cups boiling water. Cover, reduce & simmer 15-25 minutes, or until grain is tender & liquid is absorbed. Suggested Uses: Substitute for rice or bulgur in salads & pilafs. Cook in milk or juice, then top with toasted nuts & fresh fruit for a hearty breakfast. Add a little cooked grain to pancakes for texture. For optimal shelf life, store in a cool, dry place.
