Directions

Perishable. Keep frozen. Conventional Oven. Preheat oven to 400degrees F. Remove overwrap. Leave pie in the tray and place on a cookie sheet. Bake 30-35 minutes until pie is heated throughout and crust is golden brown. For best flavor, wait 2 minutes before eating. Microwave Oven: Remove overwrap. Leave pie in the tray and place on a microwave-safe plate. Cook on high for 3 1/2-4 minutes. For best flavor, wait 2 minutes before eating. Ovens vary, so please use these instructions as a guide to the best preparation for your oven.

After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987 we found there was little time to prepare the wholesome nutritious food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we-set-up Amy's Kitchen to produce delicious, nourishing frozen meals for health-conscious people too busy to cook. Our products are made with the finest organic ingredients and prepared with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would use in your own home. No meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, eggs or peanuts are ever used in any Amy's products. In 1988 Amy's introduced our first product, the original vegetable pot pie, a traditional favorite. People loved it and they still do. Lately, however, we have been receiving letters from customers saying that they are gluten intolerant and are no longer able to eat their favorite dish because of the wheat crust. So we set our chefs to making a gluten free crust that would be as tasty as the original. They did. Now everyone can enjoy this pot pie with its fresh organic carrots, peas, potatoes and tofu in the same smooth delicately seasoned sauce as before. Only the crust has changed and it is so light and flaky that everyone will love it whether they are gluten intolerant or not. Remember that at Amy's, free from gluten does not mean free from flavor.
