Amy's Black Bean Veggie Burger



Keep frozen. Cook from frozen. These burgers are fully pre-baked. Please do not overcook. Overcooking will make them too dry. Stove top: Heat on lightly oiled skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side or until heated throughout. Barbecuing: Oil each side lightly before putting on the grill. Toaster oven or conventional oven: place on cookie sheet and heat at 400 degrees F for 4-5 minutes on each side or until heated throughout. Microwave oven: Remove from overwrap and place one or more patties in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave one patty for about 50-60 seconds. Increase cooking time about 50-60 seconds for each additional patty. Let stand 1 minute before eating. Since microwave ovens vary, please adjust cooking time to suit your particular oven.

Building on our basic veggie burger mix of organic grains, vegetables and mushrooms they added black beans, sweet corn and a perfect blend of chipotle, chili and other spices to create a firm-textured vegan veggie burger with the smoky, spicy flavor of old Mexico.
