Snap one gripper open top edge of plate. Stretching spring, snap remaining gripper over opposite edge of plate; adjust to fit tightly. Springs should be taut. Helpful Hint: Bending the hang tab away from the plate will make it easier for you to engage the nail when hanging the plate.
