How We Make It: Step 1: Start with fruits & veggies We carefully select quality ingredients, sourcing locally when we can. Step 2: Puree cold to protect flavor & nutrients We aim to limit processing of our ingredients to retain nutrients and flavor as we blend. So, we puree cold before cooking. Step 3: Remove air to help preserve quality Taking the air out means we don't add artificial preservatives to keep vibrant color, fragrant aroma and thick texture. Step 4: Gently cook to help keep color & texture. We use indirect heat to cook our real food (like how you'd use a double boiler) so the flavor and nutrients don't get watered down. Step 5: Seal in reusable glass jars. Beech-Nut uses glass jars that can be recycled, which protect the taste, smell and texture of our foods.
