Range Top / Microwave - Servings - 1. Water (or milk) - 1 cup. Oats - 1/2 cup. Salt (optional) - dash. Servings - 2. Water (or milk) - 1 3/4 cups. Oats - 3 cups. Salt (optional) - 1/8 tsp. Servings - 6. Water (or milk) - 5 cups. Oats - 3 cups. Salt (optional) - 1/4 tsp. Servings - 1. Water (or milk) - 1 cup. Oats - 1/2 cup. Salt (optional) - dash. †For thicker oatmeal use less water. For thinner oatmeal use more water. Range top directions: 1. Bring water (or milk) and salt to boil. Stir in oats. 2. Cook about 1 minute over medium heat or until thickened. Stir occasionally. 3. Stir before serving. Microwave directions: 1. For 1 serving, combine water (or milk), salt, and oats in a medium microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on high for 1 1/2-2 minutes or until thickened. 3.
