Mount Veeder Wine Cabernet Franc

Description

Mount Veeder Winery was the first vineyard in the Napa Valley appellation to have all five of the grape varieties used in a classic Bordeaux blend. Mount Veeder Winery feels that blending is the key to crafting the most complete, balanced wine. Artisanal winemaking skills, beginning with gentle handling in the vineyard and finishing with extended barrel aging in the cellar, ensure the wines are enjoyable upon release, yet capable of graceful aging. Smooth entry of mixed berries and cherry cordial lead to black pepper and savory notes with good depth of flavor. Abundant with pepper and tobacco notes on the long finish. Aromas of luscious dark cherry, blackberry, bay, anise and cocoa are rich and inviting on the nose. Varietal: 76% cabernet franc, 24% cabernet sauvignon.
