Keep frozen. Keep frozen. Once thawed, do not refreeze. Cooking directions: Stove top*: 1. Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. 2. Add chopped kale and 1/2 teaspoon salt, if desired. 3. Bring rapidly to a second boil separating with fork to hasten thawing. 4. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 8-10 minutes. 5. Drain and serve. Microwave*: 1. Place kale and 2 tablespoons water in a microwave-safe casserole. Cover. 2. Cook on high for 4-6 minutes. Stir. 3. Cook on high for another 1-2 minutes or until tender. Drain. *For food safety and quality, cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on cooking method and equipment. Adjust time and heat settings as necessary.
