Kontos Pocket-Less Pita® is ideal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon snacks, appetizers, and even desserts. When heated slightly they become quite flexible. They can make the perfect pizza crust. For sandwiches: Prepare scrambled eggs, broiled chicken breasts, or use cold cuts. Meanwhile heat Kontos Pocket-Less Pita®, (this makes it flexible), add the prepared food and fold over for wrap sandwich. Pita-pizza: Spread 2 tablespoons of your favorite pizza sauce over the top of each Kontos Pocket-Less Pita®. Sprinkle with about 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and a little oregano. Place on a cookie sheet into a pre-heated 450 degrees F oven for about 4 minutes or until cheese melts. If you wish, add any of your favorite toppings as well. Veggie pizza: Mix fresh sliced or chopped cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, peas, squash, and/or string beans together. Place about 3 ounces on top of each Kontos Pocket-Less Pita®. Sprinkle with some cheddar cheese or cover with a slice of American cheese. Bake as above. (You may use frozen vegetables, thawed and cooked according to the package directions.) Crispy cinnamon sticks: Brush a Kontos Pocket-Less Pita® with some melted butter. Combine some cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top. Place in a pre-heated 450 degrees F oven and heat until the sugar melts. Cut into strips for a great dessert. Serve with ice cream for an even better dessert. After purchase, store in refrigerator or freezer for maximum freshness. Thaw in a few minutes. Warm first for best results.
