Our tools of choice are a kettle on the boil and a manual cone filter. The ideal ratio for a great cup? Two tablespoons of ground coffee for every six ounces of water. Coffee maker? That's cool. Try one tablespoon per cup and adjust to taste. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil. Let it stand about 30 seconds before introducing it to your coffee. Oh, happy day! No fridges, no freezers, no funny business. Just an airtight container kept away from heat, light, moisture and moochers.
