Keep frozen. Place in microwave this side up. Cooking instructions: Microwave steaming: Do not pierce, puncture or open the steam bag. Gently massage, the package to break the vegetables apart for even heat penetration. Place the unopened steam bag in your microwave, directions side up, and cook on high for 4-5 minutes*. This bag will begin to inflate during the cooking process, special vents will allow the steam to escape. Let stand for 1 minute. Carefully handle bag at corners while taking out of the microwave. Open carefully to allow steam to escape and pour contents from pouch; drain if needed. Season to tasteCaution: the bag will be hot. Standing time is important for safety and quality. Check for cold spots and continue cooking, if needed. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Stovetop: In a saucepan boil 1 cup of water, add contents of this bag. Additional water may be needed. Cover and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain carefully. Season to taste and serve. To store: Keep package frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C) or lower. Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed.
