Measurement chart: Recipe size - 4 cups. Ground beef - 1 lb. Chili seasoning mix - 1/4 cup. Diced tomatoes, undrained - 1 (14 1/2oz) can. Kidney beans, undrained - 1 (15oz) can. Recipe size - 8 cups. Ground beef - 2 lb. Chili seasoning mix - 1/2 cup. Diced tomatoes, undrained - 2 (14 1/2oz) can. Kidney beans, undrained - 2 (15oz) can. Recipe size - 12 cups*. Ground beef - 3 lb. Chili seasoning mix - 3/4 cup. Diced tomatoes, undrained - 3 (14 1/2oz) can. Kidney beans, undrained - 3 (15oz) can. Assorted toppings: Shredded cheese, chopped onions or sour cream. Directions: 1. Brown meat in skillet or saucepan on medium-high heat. Drain fat. 2. Stir in seasoning mix, tomatoes and beans. Bring to boil; cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with toppings, if desired. *For larger batches, additional cooking time may be needed. Try this twist! Use ground turkey in place of ground beef. Use black or pinto beans in place of the kidney beans.
