So, after visiting organic cacao farms in the Dominican Republic and perfecting the recipe, we launched Salazon Chocolate Co. Our single-origin (Dominican Republic) organic chocolate is made using only the famous Hispaniola cacao beans, which have been fermented and sun-dried.
