Heating Instructions: (For best results, thaw in refrigerator before heating). Microwave Oven: Remove product from plastic package and place product in black tray. Heat on high for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir meat and heat on high for another 1 to 2 minutes or until product is hot. After heating, stir and serve. Stove Top: Remove product from plastic package and place in a sauce pan. Heat over medium-low heat stirring occasionally until product is heated through. Serve immediately. Caution: Contents will be hot. Keep refrigerated or frozen.

History: Robert F, Doughtie, founder of the now-famous doughtie's barbecue, began his career in the food service business In 1952. Motivated by the desire to create a better-tasting barbecue. He processed and packaged his own secret recipe from an old quonset hut located on Eighth Avenue in Portsmouth, Virginia, a true family operation, Mr. Doughtie was assisted in the daily packaging process by hardworking family members so he could then take to the road selling the finished product.
