Directions
Read entire label before each use. Directions for use - place collar around cat's neck, adjust to fit cat's neck comfortably. The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the cat and to permit the collar to move about the neck. Generally, a properly fitted collar is one that, when fastened, will snugly slide over the cat's head. Leave 2 or 3 inches for extra adjustment. Cut off the excess portion of the collar. The collar is designed to release powder when applied, which will activate the pheromones. When a fresh collar is stretched out it may show an excess of powder. This excess powder is primarily a carrier for the pheromones and not the pheromones themselves. This powder is not harmful to animals. We suggest applying the collar outside. Wash hands after placing collar on the cat. The effects of one collar last up to 30 days. Seal collar in plastic bag when not in use to prolong the effect. For animal use only. Store at controlled room temperature 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F).

Safe and effective. Can be used without long-term side effects. Helps cats and kittens feel safe and secure. Ask a vet: How quickly will the cat respond once the Sergeant's® Vetscription® calming collar is placed on a cat's neck? When the collar is placed around the cat's neck, the perception of the pheromones by the cat is immediate. However, as in every behavior program, the visible improvement in specific behaviors may require some time, depending on a variety of factors: the cat, the nature, duration and severity of the problem, and behavior modification (cat and owner). Usually, an improvement in specific behavior is usually seen during the first two weeks after wearing the collar, but some cats may require a month to exhibit visible improvement. Helps make pets feel safe and secure at home and on the go! Vetscription® calming collar for cats helps in fearful or stressful situations (pet/owner separation, fireworks, thunderstorms, visitors, new kittens, new baby, vet visits, traveling) and goes where your cat goes whether at home or on the go! Vetscription® calming collar for cats mimics the pheromone that the mother cat produces to reassure her kittens. Cats recognize these pheromones throughout life. It mimics the natural way to help cats cope with new and fearful situations. The lavender and chamomile provide a soothing fragrance. Sergeant's is committed to providing high quality products.
