Cooking Directions: Range Top: For each serving: Recommended cook method. Bring 3/4 cup of water to a boil. Add 1/4 cup McCann's Quick & Easy Steel Cut Oatmeal. Reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered for 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving. Microwave: For Each Serving: Combine 3/4 cup of water with 1/4 cup of McCann's Quick & Easy Steel Cut Oatmeal in a 2 qt microwave-safe bowl (the size of the bowl is important as it must be large enough to allow the oats to bubble without spilling over). Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir and then cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from microwave and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving. Note: As microwaves are different, cooking times may vary. For thicker oatmeal, use less water. Lift tab to open.
