Directions

Keep frozen. Cooking instructions: Microwave: place desired amount of frozen vegetables in 1 quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Cover and cook 5-6 minutes* (or to desired tenderness), stirring once about midway through cooking period. Let stand 2-3 minutes. Standing time is important for safety and quality. Check for cold spots and continue cooking, if needed. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Stovetop: bring 1/2 cup water to a boil in saucepan. Add desired amount of frozen vegetables. Bring to a second boil. Stir; cover and reduce heat. Simmer 5-6 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Do not overcook. Drain, season to taste and serve. To store: keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C). Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed.
