Directions

Boiling Instructions: No 1 Swap Fire: Crabs: 2 gal gallons of water; 2 doz quantity; 5 min. boil time; 15-20 min. soak time. Crawfish: 2 gal. gallons of water; 12 to 16 lbs quantity; 5-7 min boil time; 15-20 min soak time. Shrimp: 4 gal. gallons of water; 16 to 20 lbs quantity; 1-3 min boiling time; 10-15 min. soak time. Shrimp: Addition of 1/2 cup of margarine or cooking oil during boiling will make peeling easier. Increased soaking time will produce spicier product. Extra Spicy: Sprinkle swap fire on seafood after removing from liquid. If product becomes to spicy, rinse well with water. Note: For 2nd boiling, add 1/2 original amount of swamp fire. The addition of ice after the boil time time will slow the cooking process, increase flavor absorption and enhance peeling.
