Add the corn, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the corn is crisp-tender. Microwave: Remove the corn from the packaging. Place the corn in an 8 by 8-inch (20 x 20 cm) microwave safe dish with 2 tablespoons of water. Cover the container and microwave on high according to the chart below. 1 ear = 2 min. Remove the dish from the microwave and let sit, covered for 1 min.
