Cooking instructions: Microwave: Brown: Crumble 1 pound of ground beef in 2 1/2 quart microwaveable casserole. Microwave uncovered on high (100% power) for 3 minutes.* Break up meat into smaller pieces and continue to microwave for 2 to 4 minutes until brown. Drain. Dish will be hot. *Because microwaves cook differently, times are approximate. Stove top: Brown: 1 pound lean ground beef in 10 to 12 inch skillet. Drain. Add: 1 1/4 cups hot water, 2 cups 2% milk, the pasta, and the sauce mix. Stir thoroughly. Heat: to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 14 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender. Uncover and remove from heat (sauce will thicken as it stands). High altitude directions (3500 to 6500 feet): Increase simmer time to about 17 minutes.
