For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating cook thoroughly to at least 160°F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerated leftovers. Stove-Top Directions: Recommended method. Pour 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil and 3 tablespoons water into 10-inch nonstick skillet. Add sweet potatoes. Cover; cook over medium heat 12 to 16 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Directions: Important: Do not microwave in bag. Pour sweet potatoes into 1 1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Do not add oil or water. Cover; microwave on high according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until thoroughly cooked. Caution: Hot! Uncover carefully; stir. Microwave Wattage* ... Time on high. 1200 ... 8 minutes. 1000 ... 9 minutes. 700 ... 11 minutes. *Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended.
