Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove-Top Directions: Heat 1/3 cup water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add green beans. Cover, cook over medium-high heat 9 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Microwave Directions: Important: Do not microwave in bag. Pour green beans and 2 tablespoons water into 1 1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on high according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until thoroughly cooked. Caution: Hot! Uncover carefully; stir well. Drain. Microwave Wattage* ... Time on High. 1200 ... 7 to 8 minutes. 1000 ... 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 minutes. 700 ... 10 1/2 to 11 1/2 minutes. *Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave.
