For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions: Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160°F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove-top directions: Heat 1/3 cup water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add peas. Cover; cook over medium-high heat 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Microwave directions: Important: Do not microwave in bag. Pour peas and 2 tablespoons water into 1 1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on high according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until thoroughly cooked. Caution: Hot! Uncover carefully, stir well. Drain. Microwave wattage* ... Time on high: 1200 ... 6 to 6 1/2 minutes. 1000 ... 7 to 8 1/2 minutes. 700 ... 9 to 10 minutes. *Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave.
