Cooking directions: Stovetop: Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil in saucepan; add whole package (10 oz of frozen cut leaf spinach. Gently separate vegetable with fork. Bring to a second boil: stir. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until frozen clumps are thawed and heated through. Drain, season to taste and serve. Microwave: place whole package (10 oz of frozen cut leaf spinach and 2 tbsp. Water in a 1-quart microwave-safe casserole dish: cover and microwave on high 4 to 6 minutes, surring once about midway through cooking periodi (check for cold spots: break up clumps with fork): if necessary sur vegetable thoroughly and cook additional 1 minute. Drain if needed, season to taste and cover, allowing to stand for food safety and quality before serving. For food safety, cook thoroughly to 165 degrees F (internal temperature). Because microwaves vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Refrigerate leftovers. Store at 0 degrees F (18 degrees Celsius) or lower. Keep frozen. Keep frozen until ready to use.
