Louie's Italian Beef Au Jus Seasoning


 

Directions

Slow cooker: mix contents of packet (3 oz.) with 3/4 cup of water in a slow cooker. Add 3 lb. beef roast to slow cooker. Add water to cover the roast. Cook on low setting until tender (8-10) hours). Serve on the bread of your choice. Chicago style: pre-cook beef roast and slice thinly. On top of stove add seasoning packet (3oz.) and 6 cups of water. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes. Add sliced beef to a dish and add au jus mix. Heat roast beef and sauce in the oven. Serve on hard rolls.
