Tierra Latina Quality Foods Rice Jasmine

Directions

Thai Jasmine Rice does not need rinsing or soaking. The general rule for cooking Jasmine rice is to use 1 1/2 times the amount of liquid to rice. For example, 1 cup rice cooks in 1 1/2 cups liquid. 1. In a medium-size, heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt, if desired. 2. Stir in 1 cup Thai Jasmine Rice. Cover tightly, reduce heat to the very lowest setting and simmer for 20 minutes. If all the water is not absorbed, remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. 3. Fluff with a fork. Preparation. 1. Into a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan, pour 1 1/2 cups of water for every 1 cup of Tierra Latina Jasmine Rice you plan to cook. Bring to boil. 2. Stir in rice. Cover tightly. Reduce heat to low.
