Directions

Keep Frozen. FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, FOLLOW THE COOKING DIRECTIONS. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160°F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. STOVE-TOP DIRECTIONS Heat 4 Cups Water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add edamame (in pods); return to boiling. Gently boil uncovered over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain. To eat, remove edamame from pods; discard pods. (To serve cold, rinse with cold water; drain.) MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS Important: Do not microwave in bag. Pour edamame (in pods) and 1 Tablespoon Water into 1 1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on High according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until thoroughly cooked. CAUTION: HOT! Uncover carefully; stir well. Drain. To eat, remove edamame from pods; discard pods. (To serve cold, rinse with cold water; drain.) Microwave Wattage* Time on HIGH 1200 5 minutes 1000 5 1/2 minutes 700 7 minutes *Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended.
