To Use the Pan Clip: Clip the thermometer on the side of the pan, pot or other cooking vessel. The thermometer tip should be at least 2-1/2 inch into the liquid or food. Do not let the tip of the stem touch the bottom of the vessel. Always wear a heat-resistant glove when touching the thermometer during or after use. Do not use a wet or damp cloth. Do not touch hot thermometer with bare hands! Do not use in an oven. Cleaning and Care: Hand wash only. Do not immerse thermometer in water or put in dishwasher.

For accurate readings, make sure the thermometer stem tip does not touch the bottom of the pan. Adjust the pan clip to the correct positioning and clip to the edge of the pan.
