Keep frozen. Microwave Directions: Important: Do not microwave in bag. Pour edamame (in pods) and 1 Tablespoon water into 11/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on High according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time until thoroughly cooked. For a 1200 watt microwave, microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. For a 1000 watt microwave, microwave for 4 to 41/2 minutes. For a 700 watt microwave, microwave for 5 to 51/2 minutes. Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended. Caution: Hot! Uncover carefully; stir well. Drain. (To serve cold, rinse with cold water; drain.) Stove-Top Directions: Heat 4 cups water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add edamame; return to boiling. Gently boil uncovered over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain. (To serve cold, rinse with cold water; drain.)
