Serving suggestions for pita bread. Pita pizza: Split a pita into 2 whole circles and toast. Top with tomato sauce, oregano and mozzarella cheese. Broil until the cheese is melted. Dippers: Split pitas around the edges and cut each haft into 6 triangles. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes on each side, or serve as is with vegetable dips or hummus. Sandwiches: Split a pita in half to form 2 pockets. Stuff with sandwich fillings or lightly steamed vegetables. Store in the freezer at home.
