You will need: For Brownie Batter 1/2 Stick (1/4 cup) Butter, Melted 2 Tablespoons Water 1 Egg For Cookie Dough 1/2 Stick (1/4 cup) Butter, Softened* 2 Tablespoons Water *To soften butter, let stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened. 1. HEAT OVEN to 350°F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325°F for nonstick pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2., STIR TOGETHER brownie mix, melted butter, 2 tablespoons water and egg in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. STIR TOGETHER cookie mix, softened butter and 2 tablespoons water in another medium bowl until well blended (dough will be stiff). Drop cookie dough by 9 rounded tablespoonfuls onto brownie batter in 3 rows of 3. 4. BAKE as directed below or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Let cool. Store tightly covered. PAN SIZE: 8”x 8” 9”x 9” 11”x 7” BAKE TIME (in minutes): 39-44 34-39 32-37 Enjoy! NO BUTTER? NO PROBLEM!
