Big Bowl Meal Kit: Beef & Broccoli with Jasmine Rice


 

Directions

Prep time: 15 to 60 minutes marinating time. Cook time: 20 minutes. Serves: 4. 1. Marinate the steak by mixing it with the marinade in a bowl or resealable plastic bag and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to one hour. In large 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat 2 tablespoons canola oil over medium heat. Add steak and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until beef reaches 135 degrees F (medium-rare), set aside. Wipe out pan for next step. 2. In same skillet, heat remaining canola oil over high heat, add mushrooms, ginger, garlic, white onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add broccoli florets and cook for 1 more minute. 3. Stir the Big Bowl beef and broccoli sauce, add to vegetables and bring sauce to a boil. Add steak and bring sauce back to a boil. Cook rice according to package directions. Serve delicious Big Bowl Beef and Broccoli over prepared rice. Tip: Boil the sauce until it becomes clear. THP to make both of these and show in a bowl: Flank Steak Marinated: 1 # flank steak sliced. 1 teaspoon tamari. 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil. 2 tablespoons water. 1 tablespoon corn starch. Mix all ingredients together. Beef and Broccoli Sauce: 1/4 cup oyster sauce (gluten free). 3 1/2 tablespoons tamari sauce. 1 tablespoon sugar. 1 tablespoon rice wine. 1 cup chicken broth. 2 tablespoons corn starch. Mix well all ingredients together.
