What you need: Warm water 1/2 cup. Oil 2/3 cup. Egg 1. Prep mix: Preheat oven to 325° F. Grease metal baking pan lightly. Combine in a medium bowl: brownie mix, warm water and oil. Stir by hand until well blended. Beat egg and then add to bowl. Stir until batter is smooth. Bake: Pour batter into 8” x 8” square metal baking pan. Bake approximately 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. *High altitude: Add 1 tbsp of flour to dry mix. Bake as directed. Try these variations: Do you love a more cake-y-brownie? Add 2 eggs instead of one. Proceed as directed. Sometimes you feel like a nut. Add 1 cup of walnuts to prepared batter.
