Use and care: Before use: Wash all pieces in hot, soapy water, using a sponge or a dishcloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Cooking: Select the proper burner size. Hard-anodized aluminum is an excellent heat conductor and delivers even heat distribution, so use only low to medium heat for most cooking and high heat for boiling water and reducing liquids. Always use potholders, even during stovetop use, as under certain conditions handles can be very hot. Pedrini cookware vessels are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, but glass lids are not oven-safe. To prevent warping, avoid making sudden temperature changes such as immersing hot cookware in cold water. Always let cookware cool before washing it. Never preheat empty cookware or boil dry cookware, as these could potentially damage your stove as well as the cookware. Cooking tools: Use only plastic, nylon, or wooden utensils to preserve the cookware's look and performance. Cutting directly on cookware surfaces as well as using electric beaters will scratch the interior and void your warranty. Cleaning cookware: Hand-wash only harsh detergents can discolor the hard-anodized exterior. Let pan cool after use on stove. Do not pour cold water into a hot pan, as it might warp the cookware. To remove burned and dried-on foods, soak pan in hot water before washing. Nonstick surfaces (cookware interior only). A nonstick coating ensures easy cleaning; use soap and warm water with a nonabrasive cloth for a thorough cleanup. To extend the life of nonstick pans, do not use abrasive pads or cleansers. Cookware exterior only: Nylon scrubbers and cleansers that are safe for hard-anodized cookware may be used on stubborn stains.
