The first bottled bourbon. Est'd 1870. 1920. In 1920, during Prohibition, Owsley Browns was granted limited permit to bottle medicinal whiskey at 117 West Main Street on Louisville's Whiskey Row. The typical barrel proof at that time prior to bottling was 115. The first bottled Bourbon. This whisky is distilled by us only, and we are responsible for it's richness and fine quality.
